Welcome to Western Roots Gardening. Before proceeding with your order, please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions.
Sales Platforms: Our plant packages and products are available for purchase online through our website, www.westernrootsgardening.com.au. Additionally, you can find us on Facebook and Instagram for inquiries and updates.
Product Sourcing: Our plants are sourced and carefully selected quality nurseries, ensuring compliance with AS2303:2018 standards for quality and variety.
Cancellation Policy: If you decide to cancel your order prior to delivery or pickup, a $80 administration fee will be applied to cover processing costs. The remaining balance will be refunded within 10 working days.
Stock Availability: While we strive to meet customer requirements for plant packages some plant sizes and varieties may be unavailable. Please note that plants are living items, and variations in size may occur.
Substitutions: If certain plants are unavailable, we will contact you to offer a similar variety. If no substitute is available, we will issue a refund.
Plant Warranty & Terms – Plant Health and Survival:
1. Plant Quality
All plants supplied are healthy and inspected prior to installation. Plants are living products and may react differently depending on site conditions, weather, soil, and ongoing care.
2. Establishment Period
Plants require an establishment period after planting. During this time, temporary stress, leaf drop, or colour changes may occur and do not necessarily indicate plant failure.
3. Customer Responsibilities
After installation, the client is responsible for:
Adequate and correct watering
Maintaining irrigation systems (reticulation)
Suitable soil conditions and drainage
Protecting plants from pests, animals, and damage
Ongoing care and maintenance
Failure to provide appropriate care may void any warranty.
4. Warranty
Where a warranty is provided, plants are covered for 30 days from installation against plant death due to nursery or planting faults only.
The following are NOT covered under warranty:
Incorrect or inconsistent watering
Extreme weather conditions (heatwaves, frost, storms)
Pest or disease outbreaks after installation
Soil issues, poor drainage, or compaction
Damage caused by pets, wildlife, or third parties
Council or utility works
Client modifications or relocation of plants
5. Replacement Policy
At our discretion, approved warranty claims may result in:
Replacement of plant stock only
Similar species substitution if unavailable
Labour, delivery, and reinstallation costs may apply unless otherwise agreed.
6. Irrigation & Watering
Plants depend heavily on proper watering. Systems should be checked regularly to ensure all zones are operating correctly. We recommend seasonal reticulation checks to maintain plant health.
7. No Guarantee of Long-Term Survival
As plants are living organisms and conditions vary, long-term survival cannot be guaranteed beyond the stated warranty period.
8. Reporting Issues
Any concerns regarding plant health must be reported within the warranty period, including clear photos and details of watering and care practices.
Please note that website pictures are not always a true reflection of current stock. Variations in size, shape, seasonal growth, and appearance are normal. We always supply the healthiest and best-quality specimens available at the time of your order.
